  9. data rates, and connecting to the base/PSU unit (which houses the first eight
  10. serial ports) via a multicore cable.Superport layers, available in eight-port
  11. serial (RS232, RS422/485 or modular jack formats) or four-port parallel format
  12. simply snap-in to stack vertically above the base unit, requiring no extra PSU
